Bacon Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb bacon, cooked until crisp, drained and crumbled (pre-cooked weight)
    1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 cup flour
    3/4 cup oats
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup butter, melted
    4 -5 apples, peeled, cored and sliced into 1/4 inch thick pieces
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, mix bacon, cheese, flour, oats and 1/3 cup of the brown sugar. Thoroughly mix in melted butter.
    Place apple slices in a 1.5- to 2-quart casserole. Toss with lemon juice, cinnamon and remaining 1/3 cup brown sugar.
    Spread topping on apples.
    Bake at 375 for 40-50 minutes, or until apples are tender. Allow to cool for at least 20-30 minutes before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
