Healthy Three Ingredient Maple Almond Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups almond meal
    1/2 cup natural almond butter
    1/2 cup pure maple syrup
    1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional, but don't use the cheap stuff if you add it in)
Preparation
    Line a baking dish (8x8 or 9x9 pan will work) with parchment or wax paper and set it aside.
    In a mixing bowl, add the almond meal and set aside.
    In a small sauce pan, or microwave safe bowl, melt the almond butter and maple syrup together until they are combined. Once combined, add the vanilla extract.
    Add the melted butter and syrup mixture into the almond meal. The mix should be very thick.
    If the mix is to wet add more almond meal two tablespoons at a time. If the mix is too dry add maple syrup one tablespoon at a time.
    Transfer to your container, spread the mix out and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
