Coffee Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pint milk
    2 quarts strong coffee, cooled
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 quart vanilla ice cream
    1/2 pint whipping cream
    ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Leave ice cream out of the freezer until well softened.
    Combine milk, coffee, vanilla and sugar. Blend well.
    Whip cream until thick.
    Place softened ice cream in a punch bowl. Pour in coffee mixture.
    Top with whipped cream and dust with nutmeg.
