Vanilla Bean Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 -2 shallot, minced
    1 vanilla bean, split
    1/4 cup butter
    1 cup white wine, very light such as pinot grigio
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    salt and pepper
    1 pinch sugar
Preparation
    Saute shallots, add wine, and peeled vanilla bean. Boil down slowly (about 2 hours); stir occasionally. Add cream simmer down. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Serve warm over cooked lobster.
