Best Versatile Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    125 g butter
    1 1/4 cups brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 egg
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1 pinch salt
    1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips, or
    1 cup white chocolate chips
    1/2 cup crushed pre-roasted macadamia nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius.
    Beat butter and sugar till light and creamy.
    Add vanilla and egg.
    Add in dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) till just combined.
    Fold in choc chips/nuts finally.
    At this stage, cookie dough may be rolled into a log and kept frozen;
    Otherwise, just place spoonfuls of cookie mixture on a greased baking tray, bake for 15 mins, till they turn pale gold.
    Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on tray before transfering them elsewhere, (if there're still any left by this time!).
