Baked Spareribs Aloha - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs pork spareribs
    salt and pepper
    1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
    1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
    2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/3 cup vinegar
    2 1/2 cups pineapple chunks in juice, canned
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Preparation
    Cut ribs into serving-size pieces.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
    Place in a shallow pan.
    Bake at 450\u00b0F for 30 minutes.
    Pour off excess fat.
    Reduce oven heat to 350\u00b0F.
    In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over ribs.
    Bake for 1-1/2 hours, basting frequently.
