Chicken Velvet Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 tablespoons butter
    1/3 cup flour
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup cream
    3 cups chicken broth
    1 cup finely chopped cooked chicken breast
    1/4 cup grated carrot (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a pot and whisk in flour.
    Mix together the milk, cream, and chicken broth.
    Pour it in the pot in small amounts, letting the mixture warm and whisking continuously to keep the flour from lumping.
    Keep whisking until it is creamy.
    Add in the chicken and carrots (if desired),
    stir again and serve.
