Squash Hermits (Protein Bars) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup soy flour
    1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
    1 pinch nutmeg
    6 tablespoons margarine, room temperature
    1 cup winter squash, pureed
    3/4 cup molasses
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup sunflower seeds
    1 cup dried currants or 1 cup raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In separate bowls, combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients. Mix together.
    Stir in chopped nuts and fruits.
    Spray or grease parchment paper and place on a baking sheet or bar pan; spread mixture evenly onto paper.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until golden.
    Let cool; cut into squares.
