Maple Carrot Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
    1 egg
    3/4 cup maple syrup
    1 cup grated carrot
    1 cup rolled oats
    1 1/4 cups flour
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon allspice
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup milk
Preparation
    Beat butter, egg and syrup.
    Add milk, carrots and oats.
    Blend well.
    Sift in flour, baking powder, salt and allspice.
    Combine then fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full with batter.
    Bake 400\u00b0F for 25 - 30 minutes.
