Porky Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb cooked pork, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (recipe follows)
    4 large hamburger buns, buttered dill pickles for garnish
    1 medium onion, sliced crosswise
    1 garlic clove, pressed
    2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
    3/4 cup catsup
    1/2 1/2 cup sherry wine or 1/2 cup water
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1 tablespoon prepared mustard
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
Preparation
    Stir sliced pork into hot barbecue sauce. Cook over low heat until pork is hot.
    Spoon pork in barbecue sauce into hamburger buns.
    Garnish with dill pickles and coleslaw.
    Serve immediately.
    Barbecue sauce:
    Saute onion and garlic in butter in heavy saucepan for 3 to 4 minute or until onion is soft, stirring constantly.
    Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
    Simmer 5 minute.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
