Ingredients
-
24 frozen tart shells
1 (300 ml) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (regular or fat-free)
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup corn syrup
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg, well beaten
1 pinch cinnamon (optional)
2/3 cup golden raisin
Preparation
-
Remove tart shells from freezer and arrange on 2 baking sheets. Let thaw 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, egg and cinnamon. Stir in raisins. Pour evenly into tart shells.
Bake in preheated oven (375F) for 18 minutes or until center is just set and pastry is golden. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
For plump soft textured raisins pour a little boiling water over raisins. Let stand 3-4 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
