Hearty Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon all purpose Greek seasoning
salt and pepper
2 (16 ounce) cans red beans
1 1/2 cups rice, uncooked
1 -2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
Preparation

Cook the rice according to the package instructions, being sure to add plenty of salt. Set aside.
In a large skillet, sautee the onion, green pepper, celery, garlic and seasonings until the veggies are soft.
Stir in the beans and sliced sausage.
Heat thoroughly then mix in the rice.
Heat throughout and serve.
