Strawberry Soaked Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter, Softened (No substitutes)
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
    2 1/2 cups sugar
    5 eggs
    3 cups cake flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup buttermilk
    1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    strawberry ice cream topping
    sliced fresh strawberries
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and cream cheese.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Combine the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Stir in lemon juice and vanilla extract.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch fluted tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0F for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack.
    Serve with strawberry topping slathered all over the top and sliced fresh strawberries.
