Chickpea Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 medium onions, minced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 teaspoons fresh gingerroot, finely chopped
    1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1 teaspoon ground coriander
    salt
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
    1 teaspoon ground turmeric
    2 (15 ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
    1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large skillet. Saute onions until tender. Add garlic, ginger and ground spices. Saute 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add chickpeas. Add tomatoes with their juices. Stir well and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in cilantro just before serving.
