Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups sugar
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 1/2 cups cooking oil
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 1/2 cups flour
    3 cups chopped apples
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat sugar, oil, and eggs.
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Add flour mixture to egg mixture and blend well.
    Add apples and pecans.
    Bake in a greased 9x13 inch pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
    Serve warm with ice cream or cool whip, if desired.
