Homemade Oatmeal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup water
    1 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup milk
    1 cup half-and-half
    1/2 cup butter
    2 teaspoons cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ginger
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
    4 cups oats
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a pot except oats and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add oats.
    Allow to sit for about 10 minutes, stirring about half way through.
    Serve immediately.
    For variations try adding chopped nuts or dried fruit.
