Chess Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
1 cup butter
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Preparation

Combine brown sugar, white sugar, eggs and butter.
Beat until light.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt;.
blend into egg mixture.
Mix well and add vanilla and nuts.
Spoon into a greased and floured 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0F for 45 minutes until firm around edges.
Center will be soft.
