Kentucky Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Cake
    2 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 cup water
    4 tablespoons cocoa powder
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    Chocolate Frosting
    1/2 cup butter
    1/3 cup milk
    4 tablespoons cocoa powder
    2 cups confectioners' sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine sugar and flour in bowl.
    Melt butter, shortening, water, and cocoa powder and brink to a boil.
    Pour mixture over sugar and flour.
    Stir well.
    Add remaining ingrdeients and stir until smooth.
    Pour into two greased and floured layer cake pans.
    Bake at 325 for twenty-five to thirty minutes.
    Cool thoroughly before frosting.
