Turkey Bacon Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb egg noodles
1/2 lb bacon, chopped small
1/2 lb ground turkey
1 onion, diced small
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 ounce Jack Daniels Whiskey
1 cup chicken stock
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces monterey jack cheese, shreaed
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Preparation

Bring a pasta pot of salted water to a boil.
In a large skillet add the bacon and cook over medium heat until cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add the onion and salt and cook over medium heat until tender (translucent).
Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the turkey and cook thoroughly, add the bacon back to mix.
Add the whiskey and cook for 30 seconds, then add the chicken stock. Cook over medium/High heat until reduced by 1/2.
Add the heavy cream and reduce to sauce consistency. Season for taste.
Add the sauce to cooked and drained egg noodles. Mix well and add to an oiled casserole dish.
Top with the cheese and breadcrumbs and Broil until the top of the casserole is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
