Easy Mushroom Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup brown rice
    2 cups broth (I used chicken broth)
    4 ounces chopped fresh mushrooms (1 1/4 cups)
    2/3 cup chopped onion
    2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    2 garlic cloves (minced)
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in 3-quart saucepan.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer for 50 minutes.
    Remove from heat and let stand, covered for 10 minutes.
    Stir and serve immediately.
