Spicy Sausage Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 red pepper, finely diced
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    225 g basmati rice
    450 ml stock
    6 cooked sausages, sliced diagonally
    1 container salsa, sauce
    chopped parsley, to taste
Preparation
    In a frypan (skillet), add the oil and place over medium heat.
    Add the onion and pepper, and saute for 5 minutes (or until tender).
    Stir in the uncooked rice and the stock.
    Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, covered or until rice is tender and has absorbed all (or most) of the liquid.
    Stir in the chopped sausages and salsa, simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes or until sausages are hot.
    Add the chopped parsley and serve.
