Spent Grain Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 ounce) can black beans or (15 ounce) can refried beans
    1 cup spent grain or 1 cup cooked quinoa
    1/3 cup masa corn flour
    2 eggs (optional)
    1/4 cup diced onion
    1/2 cup diced pepper (sweet, mild, or medium-hot)
    3 tablespoons barbecue sauce
    1 teaspoon cumin
    1 cup breadcrumbs
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in food processor; blend until well-mixed.
    Form into patties, brush or spray with olive oil, and grill for 4-5 minutes per side.
