Norwegian Church Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lbs hamburger
1/2 lb ground pork
2 eggs
2 slices bread
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 pinch ginger
1 pinch ground mustard
1 pinch nutmeg
2 tablespoons dried onion
Preparation

Pour the milk over the bread in a bowl.
Mix together hamburger and pork.
Add the eggs, salt, pepper, ginger, mustard, nutmeg, dried onion, then the bread and milk mixture. Mix all together well and form into balls about the size of a golf ball.
Place the meatballs into a 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees until browned and cooked through, thirty to 45 minutes.
The drippings can be used to make gravy that can be served separately or poured over the meatballs.
