Brandied Cherry Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1 cup dark sweet cherry, pitted (fresh or frozen, thawed)
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon brandy
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch and allspice in a medium skillet.
Stir in cherries, water, brandy, and lemon juice.
Stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Serve warm.
