Rice Krispies Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter
    4 cups miniature marshmallows
    5 cups puffed rice cereal
Preparation
    Over low heat, melt margarine in a 3 quart saucepan. Add marshmallows and continue to stir constantly until they are melted. Add cereal and mix well.
    Turn into a 13 x 9-inch buttered pan.
    Press firmly and refrigerate.
    I use a sheet of wax paper that is buttered on one side. I put the buttered side down on top of the cereal mixture and then press it down firmly.
    Refrigerate.
