Pregnant Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb ground beef
    1 onion
    3 potatoes
    3 carrots
    3 celery ribs
    3 garlic cloves
    1 cup cooked rice
    14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes
    14 1/2 ounces corn
    14 1/2 ounces peas
    14 1/2 ounces green beans
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 teaspoon thyme
    1/2 teaspoon basil
    3 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    8 cups water
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion in frying pan.
    Add all ingredients, including ground beef & onions, to a large pot.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to medium.
    Let cook until vegetables are cooked through.
