Hot Dog Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs ground chuck
    2 lbs onions, chopped fine
    2 teaspoons salt
    2 tablespoons chili powder
    2 cloves garlic
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    4 cups tomato puree
    2 cans tomato paste
    1 tablespoon paprika
    1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
    4 cups water, more if needed
Preparation
    Brown ground chuck, onions and garlic together& drain fat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer together 1 hour or until desired consistency (should be like a thick chili).
    Serve over hot dogs on buns, smother with finely-diced onions, if desired, and enjoy.
