Lorna Doone Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (10 ounce) package lorna doone cookies, crushed
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 boxes vanilla instant pudding mix or 2 boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups milk
1 quart softened vanilla ice cream
1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip
3 Heath candy bars, crushed

Preparation

Mix crushed cookies with melted margarine.
Put in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.
Cool.
In a mixer, beat pudding with milk.
Add ice cream and blend.
Spread over cookie mixture.
Cover with Cool Whip.
Sprinkle crushed bars over top and refrigerate.
