Asparagus Ham Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups rice, cooked
    1 lb asparagus, sliced
    2 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons flour
    1 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup water
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 cups ham, cubed
    1/4 cup almonds, slivered
Preparation
    Place cooked rice in the bottom of a well greased 10x6 baking dish.
    Top with sliced asparagus.
    Melt butter in a saucepan; blend in flour.
    Add evaporated milk and water; cook until thickened.
    Turn off heat.
    Add salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
    Add cheese and ham.
    Pour over rice mixture.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.
