Norwegian French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 cups milk
    1/4 cup irish cream
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    2 tablespoons butter, melted
    8 -10 slices raisin bread
    butter (for frying)
    cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs, milk, liqueur, sugar, vanilla, and butter in a large bowl until smooth.
    Dip bread quickly into egg mixture, and pan fry in hot butter until golden brown on both sides.
    Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon, if desired.
    Serve hot with syrup.
    Makes about 4 servings.
