Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 cup milk (scant measure)
    1 tablespoon shortening, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0F.
    Sift flour and salt together.
    In medium bowl, mix eggs, milk, and shortening. Gradually add in flour. Beat until smooth with egg whisk or electric mixer, about 1 minute.
    Pour into greased popover tins, Pyrex cups, or muffin pans to 1/3 full.
    Bake 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0F; bake an additional 15 minutes, until popovers are firm.
