Cheese And Molasses Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb sliced smoked bacon
    1 onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 (28 ounce) cans pork and beans
    1/4 cup brown sugar, packed (or more to taste)
    1/4 cup molasses
    1 teaspoon steak sauce
    1/2 lb soft processed cheese, cubed (like Velveeta)
Preparation
    Fry bacon in large skillet.
    Pour off fat, Return 3 tbsp fat to skillet.
    Fry onion and garlic in fat until tender.
    Add pork and beans, brown sugar to taste, molasses and steak sauce; stir to mix.
    Simmer 30- 45 minutes.
    Crumble bacon; add cheese to beans just before serving.
