Smoked Whole Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    1 tablespoon salt
    1 tablespoon black pepper
Preparation
    Preheat your smoker to 250. Feel free to experiment with wood chips. I like apple, hickory, or maple.
    Remove the organs from the chicken if they are present. Rub the outside with the salt and pepper (no oil needed, the skin provides that).
    Place breast side down in your smoker and smoke 3-5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165.
    Allow to rest at least 15 minutes before carving to improve moistness.
