Mashed Potatoes With Pine Nuts, Onions & Cinnamon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs mealy potatoes
    salt
    ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    6 tablespoons butter
    1/2 cup milk
    1 large onion, coarsely chopped
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    4 tablespoons pine nuts
Preparation
    Boil potatoes till done.
    Peel and mash them with the salt, pepper, cinnamon, butter and milk.
    Saute onions in olive oil till browned, adding pine nuts toward the end so they get toasted.
    Serve the potatoes hot, spread flat on a platter and topped with the onion pine nut mixture.
