Chocolate Chip Angel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1/2 cup shortening
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 large egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 cup chopped pecans
    additional sugar
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl cream butter and shortening.
    Gradually add sugars, beating well.
    Add egg and vanilla, beat well.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture,beat well.
    Stir in chips and pecans.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
    Place 2-inches apart on greased baking sheet.
    Bake 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Cool on wire racks.
