Ingredients

1/2 a cup butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon Anjou pear, vannila
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups rice krispies cereal
1 cup sugar or 2/3 white sugar and 1/3 brown sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt, add to cream.
Add cereal and chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful on parchment paper lined cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.
Remove to cooling rack while warm.
