Old Fashioned Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
    2 cups sugar, divided
    1 egg, beaten
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup sour milk or 1 cup buttermilk
    2 cups rhubarb, chopped and floured
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 cup butter
Preparation
    Toss chopped rhubarb in some flour.
    Cream butter and 1 1/2 c sugar. Add egg, beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients, add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
    Gently blend in rhubarb and vanilla.
    Pour into a 9x13 pan.
    Mix remaining 1/2 c sugar with cinnamon and butter until crumbly.
    Sprinkle over batter.
    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes. Test for doneness.
