Best Corned Beef N Cabbage In Slow Cooker - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, cut into wedges
    1 cup apple juice
    1 bay leaf
    1 (2 1/2-3 lb) corned beef brisket, with spice packet cut in half (2 1/2 to 3 pounds)
    1 small head of cabbage, cut into wedges
    I also add a few
    new potato (optional)
    carrot (optional)
Preparation
    Place onion in 5 qt slow cooker. Combine apple juice, bay leaf and contents of spice packet; pour over onion. Top with brisket and cabbage. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat and vegetables are tener. Discard the bay leaf before serving.
