Georgia Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    25 saltine crackers, finely crushed
    1 cup pecans, finely chopped
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon maple flavoring
    1/2 cup sugar
    4 egg whites
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Combine crackers, 1/2 cup of sugar, and pecans.
    Beat egg whites until stiff, add the other 1/2 cup of sugar and fold into cracker mixture. Pour into well-buttered 9-inch pie plate and bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 325\u00b0F.
    Mix the maple flavoring into the Cool Whip and put on top of each slice before serving.
