Italian Mondo Bizarro Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 garlic cloves
    1/3 cup fresh basil leaf
    1/3 cup parsley, minced
    1 lb spinach, stemmed
    3 tomatoes, medium ripe
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese (vegans use nutritional yeast flakes)
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup pine nuts (almond slivers fine too)
    black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
    red pepper flakes, to taste
Preparation
    Place garlic, basil, parsley and spinach in a blender; work into a uniform paste. Add tomatoes; process just a few seconds longer.
    Transfer to a bowl and stir in parmesan, red pepper flakes, salt and nuts.
    Serve at room temperature with hot pasta tossed in olive oil.
