Vegetable Soup With Country Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 quarts beef broth
    1 (15 ounce) can navy beans, drained and rinsed
    12 ounces chicken, cubed
    8 ounces ham, diced
    1 cup cubed red potatoes
    1 cup cut green beans
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped leek
    1/2 cup sliced carrot
    1/2 cup celery
    2 large garlic cloves, minced
    1 teaspoon dried thyme
    1 cup asparagus spear
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except asparagus in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours, adding asparagus during last 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
