Polynesian Chicken - cooking recipe

3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt, divided
6 boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup pineapple tidbits
1 small green bell pepper, julienned
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine flour, paprika and 1 teaspoon salt in a resealable bag. Add chicken and seal tightly. Shake until coated.
Heat butter in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned on both sides about 10 minutes.
Mix brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger and remaining salt in a medium saucepan. Stir in pineapple juice, vinegar and soy sauce. Add pineapple tidbits and bell pepper.
Spoon sauce over chicken. Place chicken in over and bake chicken, basting occasionally with pineapple mixture for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through or sauce is thickened up.
