Nancy Slice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Slice mix
    150 g butter
    1 teaspoon golden syrup
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup coconut
    1/2 cup dates, chopped
    1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
    3/4 cup Weetabix, crushed
    1 cup flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    2 tablespoons cocoa
    Caramel Icing
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 tablespoons milk
    2 tablespoons butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 180\u00b0C.
    Melt butter, golden syrup and brown sugar.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Mix well and press into greased swiss roll tray.
    Bake at for 15-20 minutes.
    While hot spread caramel icing over and cut while warm.
    Caramel icing:
    In a pot melt brown sugar, milk and butter, then bring to boil.
    Beat with wooden spoon till thickens and pour over cake immediately.
