Fool- Proof Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups water
    1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil or 1 teaspoon butter
    1 pinch kosher salt
    1 cup long grain brown rice
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil. Add oil, salt and rice. Stir, reduce heat to low, cover with lid and simmer for 45 minutes. Turn off heat, remove lid, and fluff with a fork. Serve immediately.
