Ingredients

6 cups blackberries
1/2 cup water
6 cups sugar
2 oranges, juice of
1 grated orange, zest of
1 lemon, juice of
Preparation

Cook the berries with the water in a large stock pot until soft.
Rub berries thru a sieve to remove seeds.
Return mashed berries to pot.
Add the sugar, juice of oranges and lemon, and the orange zest; stir to combine.
Boil until thickened. Ladle into hot sterilized jars.
Add lids and bands and allow to cool completely.
