Buttermilk Bran Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups wheat bran
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup dark brown sugar
    1 cup raisins
    2 cups buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix together all the dry ingredients.
    Stir in the buttermilk and let stand in a warm place for 1/2 hour before scraping into an oiled loaf pan.
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F.
    Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle.
