Wild Rice Cheddar Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons margarine
    1/4 cup flour
    6 cups vegetable broth
    1 onion, diced
    1/2 cup wild rice, rinsed
    1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large saucepan over medium heat.
    Stir in flour and cook, stirring 1 minute.
    Whisk in broth.
    Pour into slow cooker and add onion and wild rice.
    Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours until rice grains are tender.
    Stir in cheese and hot sauce. Cook 1/2 hour more. Stir until cheese is melted.
