Mamaw'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    3/4 cup oil
    3/4 teaspoon baking soda
    3 tablespoons buttermilk
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3 large bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
    1 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F.
    Grease and flour an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan; set aside.
    Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
    Add sugar, oil and buttermilk; stir to blend.
    Fold in bananas and nuts.
    Pour into prepared dish.
    Bake 1 hour 10 minutes.
    Makes one 2-lb loaf.
    *I also add a powdered sugar glaze over the top to make a prettier presentation.
    Just a tad bit of water, maybe 2 TBSP, mixed with about 3/4 cup of powdered sugar.
