Italian Soda Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup water
    1 cup sugar
    flavoring, of choice (juice, extract, imitation flavors...)
Preparation
    Heat water and sugar in saucepan on medium-low, stir occasionally, until reduced by half. If using juice, use a juice with no sugar, and replace half of the water with 1/2 cup of juice.
    allow to cool (hard to work with when cold).
    pour syrup into squeeze bottle for easy use and storage.
    squeeze desired amount of syrup into a glass of club soda and ice.
    stir to mix.
    enjoy.
