Ham And Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 1/2 teaspoons cooking oil
    4 cups water
    1 cup diced cooked ham (baked ham)
    1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
    1 tablespoon vegetable bouillon granules
    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/8 teaspoon celery seed
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions and mushrooms in cooking oil in large saucepan on medium for about 5 minutes until onion is soft.
    Add remaining 10 ingredients. Bring to a boil on medium-high.
    Reduce heat. Cover.
    Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
